Solving Schering-Plough’s space pressures

Schering-Plough, a research-based pharmaceutical company, faced significant space pressures in its existing premises due to the company’s strong headcount growth. As a result, Schering-Plough wanted to identify and negotiate terms for a new building that would accommodate its operations and also have a site that is close to its staff and client demographics.

Schering-Plough asked for Jones Lang LaSalle’s assistance in locating a suitable building within the required time frame. After a thorough search in North Ryde, Schering-Plough’s preferred location, we identified and helped secure a site with a size of around 5,300 sqm at 66 Waterloo Road. We also negotiated competitive terms for the client amidst a market that is strongly favourable to the landlord.

According to Annette Mansfield, Administration Manager of Schering-Plough, Jones Lang LaSalle employees were a pleasure to work for being professional, knowledgeable, patient and having quickly developed a good understanding of what Schering-Plough’s expectations and how the company works.
