The Exchange Hotel, Queensland

The Exchange Hotel, QLD
December 2013 - JLL were appointed to offer for sale the ‘Stockie’, one of Brisbane’s iconic hospitality venues. Extending over a 911sqm site area, the hotel includes four bars, gaming room, bistro, function rooms and 25 gaming machine authorities.

Our team undertook a tightly controlled and discrete short-term sale process directed at a selective list of purchasers. We delivered the best outcome possible for both purchaser and vendor by creating the necessary competitive tension in a discreet off-market format.

The asset was sold unconditionally for AUD35 million and represented the second largest freehold going concern Brisbane hotel sale on record.

In the end our client has secured a great result and a worthy addition to his growing portfolio.
