JLL wins three awards in RICS Oceania Commercial Property Awards

JLL recognised for technology, innovation and valuation services at the annual RICS Awards

JLL Australia secured three awards presented at the annual RICS Awards ceremony in Melbourne.  JLL was acknowledged with the Valuation Team of the Year, Sustainability Team of the Year and Technology Innovation Team of the Year awards.

The annual awards of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), now in their seventh year, recognise the commercial property sector and professionals within the land, property and construction industries worldwide. Twelve awards, acknowledging success by individual and project teams, were awarded at the dinner.

Managing Director, Advisory and Consulting Services – Australia, John Talbot, said “JLL is honoured to have been successful in these categories, the awards acknowledge the dedicated work of our teams to deliver quality services to our valued clients”.

The Valuation Team of the Year recognises JLL’s involvement in the Defence housing Australia (DHA) Annual Rental Revaluation project undertaken in 2015.  The valuation included the assessment of rental values and insurable values for each property.

A key highlight for the success in the Sustainability category was the instrumental process in obtaining third party recognition for Commonwealth Bank Place located within the Darling Quarter precinct in Sydney through the first 6-star Performance rating from the Green Building Council of Australia (GBCA).

JLL’s experience and outstanding contribution in the Technology and Innovation sector was demonstrated by the creation of an automated analytics solution for the Department of Defence.  Inspired by JLL’s global initiative (known as RED platform), each of the team members on the project contributed to the outcome.

“JLL acknowledges the commitment of RICS to our industry by supporting these awards which showcases the contribution and outstanding performance of firms, teams and individuals in the commercial property industry ” said Mr Talbot.
