Iconic Subiaco Town Centre property for sale

A landmark site within the Subiaco town centre has been listed for sale by JLL.  The former Subiaco Pavilion Market site is expected to attract widespread interest from prospective buyers locally and overseas, and is being offered to market complete with a world-class, mixed-use development scheme that has already been approved.

JLL's WA Director of Sales and Investment Phillip Fogliani said the site represents Perth's most attractive, A-grade, ready to build development site.

"This is a strategically important location for many reasons, not the least of which are the site's high TOD rating and close proximity to the CBD." Mr Fogliani said.

"The Pavilion site sits directly across the road from the Subiaco train station and is just four short kilometres from the centre of Perth.

"All of the hard work on this site has been done, including exhaustive community consultation to ensure the approved scheme is designed to deliver what the community asked for; a vibrant, mixed use residential and commercial precinct which will help revitalise the Subiaco town centre."

The award-winning design by architect firm Hassell, incorporates a well-activated and functional ground floor which includes a series of laneways and activated spaces flowing into a retail and lifestyle precinct, aimed at attracting premium operators.  It also includes 292 residential apartments, including a roof-top bar. The scheme has a maximum approved height of 16 storeys (including the ground floor) with a land area of 5451 square metres.

"The potential buyer could commence construction almost immediately, although there is no obligation to maintain the current design," Mr Fogliani said.

The site is being put up for sale reluctantly by the current owner due to changing business interests in the six years since it was purchased by Subigate Pty. Ltd. The site is for sale by EOI closing at 3pm (AWST) on Thursday August 11th
