JLL has great success at PCA WA Property Awards

Firm wins 12 awards including the WA Commercial Property of the Year Award for Central Park

Last Friday evening, the WA Division of the Property Council of Australia held the annual PCA WA Property Awards at The Crown, which included Retail and Commercial categories. Half of the awards were taken out by JLL.

Of the 24 awards presented on the night, JLL won 12, including the WA Commercial Property of the Year Award for Central Park – the third occasion on which the building has won this prestigious award.  JLL WA's Head of Commercial Property Management, Angelo Amara said that being awarded Commercial Property of the Year, alongside their other wins, exemplifies JLL's commitment to best-in-class delivery of property and asset management services.

"Category wins such as Outstanding Refurbishment demonstrate the tangible benefits of asset repositioning, which is of particular importance to owners of older stock in what is a very challenging leasing market," added Mr. Amara.

The firm's depth and breadth of experience as a professional property management company was also highlighted by the fact that JLL was the only managing agent to win any retail awards on the night with all other category winners being owner-managed centres.

"JLL is particularly proud of our performance winning awards across all centre sizes, marketing sub-categories and winning both marketing and management awards.  This further highlights JLL's dominance in retail management and the strength of our excellent WA team," said JLL's WA Head of Retail Property Management, Ann Manifis.

"JLL manages over 400,000m2 of retail  in WA for some of Australia's most prestigious clients, and these awards are testament to the high standards of the Property and Asset Management Team.  Once again JLL has demonstrated that it is unquestionably the best retail property and asset management team in Australia," added Ms Manifis.
