JLL Project Director recognised in National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) Awards

A Project Director with JLL Australia has been recognised in the annual NSW awards of the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC).

Esti Cogger was announced as the winner of the Crystal Vision Award. This award recognises people who actively promote and encourage participation and career progression of women in the construction industry.

JLL's Australian Director of Project & Development Services, Andrew Read said, “This award is fantastic recognition for the work Esti has done over time to fly the flag for women in the traditionally male-dominated construction industry.

“Esti took the reins of JLL Australia’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee in early 2016, and has made a point to always take seriously her position as a role model for other women working alongside her or under her on project teams.”

This is JLL’s fourth award from NAWIC. JLL Project and Development Services team won the 2016 Diversity & Inclusion Champion award. Sydney-based senior project manager Diana Jones received the 2015 Crystal Vision Award and our PDS team in Melbourne received the inaugural Diversity and Inclusion Champion Award from NAWIC’s VIC Chapter in 2013.

Mr Read continued, "We continue to work to build a diverse workplace.  Our Projects division has increased the representation of women within the Australian business by 68% over the past five years, through a number of initiatives including flexible work policies and mentoring.  We recognise that these initiatives focussing on diversity deliver real value to our organisation and to our clients.”
