Not for profit group Open Minds moves to 444 Logan Road: Jones Lang LaSalle

BRISBANE, APRIL 23, 2013 – Jones Lang LaSalle’s Christian Allen has found not for profit group Open Minds a new location to service their expanding community service platforms.

Open Minds provides community based support to people living with mental illness, intellectual disability or acquired brain injury throughout South East Queensland. The organisation has recently been mandated by the government to provide further services to community, hence the requirement for further office accommodation across SEQ.

“Open Minds have also opened offices in Ipswich, Caboolture, and Chermside in order to service government contracts which have been recently awarded,” Mr. Allen said.
Open Minds have secured a ground floor tenancy of 335sqm with 9 secure basement car bays on a 5 + 3 year lease. Industry sources suggest the office content would have leased for $415 - $435/m², with car bays leasing at $250 - $300/bay/cm.
“Finding a ground floor premises with prominent street frontage and access to public transport was critical to their requirements,” Mr Allen commented.
“444 Logan Road benefits from terrific access to rail, bus and retail amenity; all elements which were important to Open Minds when shortlisting prospective opportunities,” Mr. Allen concluded.
