Australian Head of Office Leasing appointed

Current NSW Head of Office Leasing Tim O’Connor has been promoted to assume a National role

AUSTRALIA, 19 JULY 2013 – Jones Lang LaSalle has promoted from within a leasing expert with 20 years property experience to head up its National Office Leasing business.  Tim O’Connor has spent the majority of his 20 years in property in a variety of leasing roles, both in Australia and Asia.

Mr O’Connor will take on the role of Australian Head of Office Leasing, in addition to retaining his current position at Jones Lang LaSalle as Head of NSW Office Leasing.

Stephen Conry, CEO of Jones Lang LaSalle Australia said, “Tim’s major project experience and relationships with blue-chip global tenants has proved to be a valuable asset to our business since he joined the firm two-and-a-half years ago.

“With over 20 years of property experience, Tim started with our firm in Sydney as a part-time student in 1993 and his career has seen him gain experience in Asian property markets, including Hong Kong and Shanghai.  He has worked on major office projects in Hong Kong, including Two International Finance Centre.

“Since returning to Australia to re-join Jones Lang LaSalle, he has built on our significant successes and has effectively ensured we continue to offer our clients depth of market intelligence and strategic leasing expertise. He is currently working on high profile leasing campaigns such as International Towers Sydney at Barangaroo, 1 Bligh Street and 52 Martin Place,” said Mr Conry.
