SYDNEY, 15 August, 2013 – Global Real Estate firm Jones Lang LaSalle has been appointed on behalf of joint owners, the Lend Lease managed APPF Commercial fund and their Co-Owner, to provide property management services for the newly refurbished 1 O’Connell Street, Sydney, effective as of August 3, 2013.
The premium-grade, 34-storey, 34,800sqm commercial office building, located in a high-profile location within Sydney’s CBD with iconic Sydney Harbour views, is currently undergoing a major refurbishment.
The scope of works includes a transformation of the main lobby and refurbishment of floors in the Tower, and significantly upgraded building services. Further plans exist to undertake a refurbishment to re-position the retail centre, The Wintergarden, and the creation of new end-of-trip facilities including provision for over 200 bicycles, and new extensive change room facilities. The building upgrades are designed to significantly improve the sustainability performance of the property.
