Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels named Number 1 Hotel Sales Agency in Australia for second consecutive year

Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels has won the award for Number 1 Hotels Sales Agency in Australia for 2010 at the Annual Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) Awards for commercial property asset classes.
The annual RICS awards recognise commercial agencies which have transacted the greatest number of sales and dollar value of sales over $5m in Australia which were settled in 2010. During the year Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels sold 48 accommodation hotel and pubs with a combined value of over $793 million.

Major transactions included:

• A hotel Portfolio which consisted of five assets across
  Brisbane and Perth and sold for $175 million to CDL
  Hospitality Trust. It represented the largest hotel portfolio
  sale in Australia during 2010.

• The iconic five star Sofitel Wentworth Sydney sold for $130
  million to LaSalle Investment Management
