New appointment to Jones Lang LaSalle’s Health and Aged Care Division

SYDNEY, 1 JULY 2011 – Jones Lang LaSalle has appointed Noral Rich to a senior leadership role in its Health and Aged Care Division.

Noral will lead the national Advisory and Consulting practice for Health and Aged Care as a Director, based in Melbourne, while Brendan Wenke will continue to lead national Sales and Investments in the sector from the Sydney office.
Ms Rich joins the firm after nine years in the Real Estate Advisory Services division at Ernst and Young where she specialised in Health and Aged Care investment and valuations.

Prior to working at Ernst and Young, Noral worked as a Senior Valuer in the Capital Markets Group at Jones Lang LaSalle where she worked across a wide-ranging portfolio including commercial, retail, industrial and development projects.

John Talbot, Managing Director, Investments and Advisory said, “We are delighted to welcome Noral back to the firm. She has extensive experience in the area of retirement villages, aged care facilities, social and affordable housing and is well recognised within the industry for her valuation advice, consulting, transactional support and feasibility analysis.

“Jones Lang LaSalle has been specialising in the Health and Aged Care sector for a number of years, as the sector has been developing due to Australia’s rapidly ageing population.
“With the first cohort of baby boomers turning 65 this year, investor demand for Health and Aged Care assets will only increase,” said Mr Talbot.

Ms Rich completed a Bachelor of Business in Property (Management and Investment Stream) with Distinction at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology in 2000 and has since gone on to complete a Post-Graduate Diploma in Valuations.

Ms Rich is an associate member of the Australian Property Institute and has been on the Panel of Examiners for the past three years.

Noral starts in her new role on 1 August.
