Head of JLL South Sydney Office appointed as incumbent promoted to broader role to manage the NSW Metropolitan Sales and Investments team

Blair Peterken joins Jones Lang LaSalle from CBRE as Sam Brewer moves to broader role in the firm

SYDNEY, 21 JANUARY 2014 – A senior industrial specialist with over 8 years’ experience in the South Sydney market has been appointed as the new Head of Jones Lang LaSalle’s Mascot Office.

Blair Peterken was formerly the Head of Industrial, South Sydney at CBRE.

He replaces Sam Brewer, who has moved to a broader role as NSW Head of Metropolitan Sales and Investments.  In this new role, Sam will relocate from Mascot to the Sydney office on 30 June.

National Head of Industrial and NSW Managing Director, Michael Fenton said, “Sam’s promotion to manage the firm’s metropolitan sales team across New South Wales has given us the opportunity to add another experienced industrial operative to the team in NSW.

“Blair will continue to grow our already strong Mascot office across all service lines, which under Sam’s leadership had a record year in 2013.

“Blair has strong client relationships in the South Sydney market and was responsible for recent landmark transactions, including the sale of the 33,000 square metre Woolstore site in Alexandria to Trivest and the leasing of a 12,400sqm warehouse/office building to Toll on behalf of Goodman.  He also transacted the sale of a 13,000sqm site in Alexandria to Waverley Council on behalf of Macquarie Bank.

“Blair will also sit on our NSW Leadership team and I look forward to the contribution he will make to our broader business,” said Mr Fenton.
