Redevelopment opportunity on Sydney’s Northern Beaches announced to the market

A property at 1402-1404 Pittwater Road, North Narrabeen is up for sale

SYDNEY, 1 APRIL, 2014 – Two sites located on Sydney’s Northern Beaches to be sold together as one have been announced to the market this week, offering a total redevelopment opportunity in a key high-traffic, high-visibility area.

JLL’s Directors, Sales and Investments – NSW Ari Danas and Michael Ajaka are managing the sale.

Mr Danas said this redevelopment opportunity is rare, with direct exposure to Pittwater Road offering visibility from the main stream of traffic running through the area.

“There is an opportunity here for a total redevelopment to maximise the 51 metre exposure to Pittwater Road, and take advantage of convenient dual street admission via Lake Park Road – which a limited number of properties in the area have access to.”

Mr Danas said he anticipates interest from local private owners looking to expand or relocate their operations.

According to Mr Ajaka, Caravan and Motorhome retail business Sydney RV Group is the current owner and occupier of the two properties and titles. “Sydney RV Group has decided to merge their two Dealerships together at their four acre Penrith Supercentre, and place the North Narrabeen property up for sale.

“The surrounding businesses include a Coles Express Shell Fuels petrol station, a Caltex Woolworths petrol station and a Volvo car dealership. There is an opportunity to use the site immediately with the current zoning of 3D Automotive, or wait for the proposed new B6 Enterprise Corridor zoning. This will allow for a range of uses, including business, office, retail and light industrial, subject to council approval.”

The properties are being offered for sale in one line via an Expressions of Interest campaign from April 5, 2014.
