Queensland: JLL appoints leading Valuers for Gold Coast Valuation office

BRISBANE, 18 June 2014 - JLL has continued its growth curve, appointing two leading Valuers to head up the new JLL Valuations Office on the Gold Coast.

John Muchall and Lisa Murdoch, both former Directors of Landmark White on the Gold Coast, have joined JLL as Valuers in the new office at Level 5, 64 Marine Parade in Southport.

The appointments follow the recent announcement by JLL of an almost doubling of its Valuation and Advisory business in Queensland, led by the appointment of leading industry figures Troy Linnane and Dennis Morgan in the Brisbane office. The move saw virtually the entire Queensland residential development valuation team from Colliers International join JLL in Brisbane.
“This is an extremely exciting time for the company in this state, and nationally,” said Geoff McIntyre, JLL Managing Director Queensland. “The expansion is part of JLL’s strategic growth blueprint, with Residential Development Valuations and Consultancy key growth sectors,” he said.
“It follows recent similar market expansions in other cities and will serve to further leverage the various residential related projects we manage in Capital Markets, Consulting, Project and Development Services and more recently with our new Residential Project Marketing division,” said Mr McIntyre.
