Queensland: JLL appoints leading Research Strategist

​BRISBANE, 10 OCTOBER 2014 - Global property services firm, JLL has appointed an experienced research strategist to a role based in Brisbane with national responsibility for economic commentary. Carol Hodgson has joined JLL as Director of Strategic Research and Queensland Head of Research.

Ms Hodgson has relocated to Australia for the position after ten years leading global companies in real estate analysis and research strategy out of London. 

Prior to joining JLL, Ms Hodgson was a Research Strategist for Property and Portfolio Research in London, and before that she was the Head of European Investment Research and Strategy for GE Capital Real Estate Investment Management, also in London. 

JLL’s Queensland Managing Director, Geoff McIntyre said, “Carol brings strong analytical experience having developed real estate investment strategies for large global investors, and a high level of international exposure. 

“Working with the JLL national Research team, she will work across the firm developing the profile of JLL by providing information, analysis and thought leadership to all business units,” said Mr McIntyre.
