JLL’s NSW Metropolitan Sales and Investments team expands with two new hires

Directors Paul Hunter and David Mathews are added to the team after a bumper year

SYDNEY, 10 DECEMBER 2014 – JLL’s NSW Metropolitan Sales and Investments team is expanding with the appointment of two new director-level hires coming off the back of a successful year for the team.

Paul Hunter joins the team this month as Director, NSW Metropolitan Sales and Investments following 15 years at Cushman & Wakefield. David Mathews is set to join JLL on January 19, 2015 as Director, NSW Metropolitan Sales and Investments from his role in acquisitions at Mulpha.

Sam Brewer, JLL’s Head of Metropolitan Sales and Investments for NSW, said the two hires are an expansion move following a big year, with JLL transacting over $1.35 billion of residential development sites across metropolitan Sydney this year to date.

“We are extremely pleased to bolster the NSW team with these two new strategic hires, who bring a wealth of experience across the Sydney metropolitan commercial property market over a wide variety of asset classes.

“We anticipate that the NSW metropolitan market will remain highly active in 2015, with new major investors who have a significant appetite for suburban investments and residential development land in the Sydney market continuing to emerge,” concluded Mr Brewer.
