Former Head of JLL’s Australian Consulting Business returns to Sydney from Asia

Graham Coutts is the firm’s Head of Strategic Consulting for Asia Pacific and brings a wealth of experience back into the Australian business, where he will be based in Sydney

AUSTRALIA, 11 FEBRUARY 2015 – JLL has attracted back to Australia the firm’s Asia Pacific Head of Strategic Consulting, Graham Coutts.

Graham is an International Director of the firm and led the Australian Consulting business back in the early 1990’s and early 2000 before heading overseas to JLL offices in the Middle East and Asia. He spent the last three years living in Shanghai, working on some of the largest urban development projects across China, and with many of the Chinese development groups which are increasingly involved in landmark projects in Australia.

JLL’s Managing Director, Advisory & Consulting, John Talbot said, “We are delighted that Graham has returned to Australia and he brings a wealth of experience and client contacts both locally and globally that will be of great benefit to our growing Consulting business here in Australia.

“Graham will be based in Sydney in his current role as Asia Pacific Head of Strategic Consulting, coordinating the firm’s activities across the region, with a particular emphasis on China and Australia.

“JLL continues to grow its Consulting & Advisory Services platform across Australia.  In August last year, JLL strengthened the team with the appointment of a specialist in the government consulting space, James Kennedy, who joined from KPMG.
“JLL continues to expand its advisory platform in response to changing needs of clients and market conditions.  We currently have a diverse consulting service offering, including student accommodation services, health and aged care, tax advisory, infrastructure advisory and development feasibility,” said Mr Talbot.
