JLL & DynCorp (Aust) Pty Limited, under a partnership ‘Augility’, the only new provider to be awarded a contract under the multi-billion dollar Base Services Re-tender by the Federal Government

Augility partners appointed to manage and deliver hundreds of projects over a six year period across Australian Defence Force bases

​​AUSTRALIA, 5 DECEMBER 2014 – DynCorp Australia and global property services firm, JLL have been appointed as one of two project managers for Project Delivery Services (PDS) in support of the Defence Estate Works Program.

JLL’s Australian Head of Project & Development Services, Kevin Hastings said, “We are honoured to be part of the partnership with DynCorp and the only new providers appointed by the Department of Defence in what is the largest project management contract in the Australian market.  

JLL has a strong working relationship with Federal Government agencies and our Project & Development Services division has worked on a number of contracts with Federal agencies.

“This new contract will see Augility responsible for managing and delivering multiple projects annually across Australian Defence bases, with a strong focus on total asset management.  The team will be managing projects that range from new build, civil, infrastructure and building refurbishment.

“The Department of Defence is keen to achieve efficiencies through a streamlined approach with the 10 new contracts.  Augility will use JLL’s expertise in project management and project delivery to manage these Defence assets to enhance business operations.

“JLL delivers global property services to the government sector, which coupled with our Strategic Consulting, Facilities Management and Valuations business divisions, positions us as a true end-to-end service provider.

“This latest contract is one of the hundreds of assignments across all states and territories fulfilled this year by the Project and Development Services team. In Australia we have national coverage and our specialists have experience delivering the most complex project and construction management projects,” Mr Hastings said.

DynCorp Australia’s Managing Director, Jeff Wilkinson said that “with JLL we are most privileged supporting Defence delivering savings while sustaining capability. This opportunity builds upon nearly a decade of support to Defence in the aviation, engineering and logistic fields.”

About Augility:

Augility is a collaboration between DynCorp (Aust) Pty Limited and JLL, the key subcontractor.  The collaboration (Augility) will deliver the Project Delivery Services (PDS) in support of the Defence Estate Works Program.

DynCorp (Aust) Pty Limited will manage the overarching contractual requirements, and JLL will be responsible for the management and delivery of the PDS services/operations.
