Potts Point Landmark Hotel sold

JLL are delighted to announce the sale of the Bourbon Hotel

JLL's Hotels & Hospitality Group are delighted to announce the sale of the Bourbon Hotel and former Swans Club, Darlinghurst Road in Potts Point.

The property comprises the award-winning fully refurbished Bourbon Hotel, including hotel licence and 30 poker machines, and the vacant fully fitted Swans Club, all occupying a 1385sqm site area.

John Musca and James Aroney negotiated the sale. "The Bourbon is perfectly positioned to benefit from the evolution of King's Cross and Potts Point into a Covent Garden/Soho style precinct, the strong interest from developers in the site highlighted this." said Mr Musca.

The asset was sold by C Inc. and has been purchased by Iris Capital, who recently acquired the Mercure Hotel in Kings Cross and announced its conversion into a market-leading 170 apartment residential and retail complex.

Iris CEO, Sam Arnaout, said, "We are very excited about the transformation of Darlinghurst Road and delighted to have secured another high profile development asset with an underlying hotel business that complements our core competencies."
