JLL Senior Project Manager recognised in National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) Awards

Diana Jones – winner of the Crystal Vision Award – for advancing the interests of women

A Senior Project Manager with JLL Australia has been recognised in the annual NSW awards of the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC).

Diana Jones – who has been with JLL's Project & Development Services division for 11 years – was announced as the winner of the Crystal Vision Award.  This award recognises people who actively promote and encourage participation and career progression of women in the construction industry.

JLL's Australian Head of Project & Development Services, Kevin Hastings said, "We are delighted that Diana has been recognised for her efforts to advance women in what is a traditionally male-dominated industry.

"Diana was a founding member of the Project & Development Services Diversity Committee in 2011.  Since then, she has built up a track record of advocating for women within JLL.  She has also been called upon to participate in diversity initiatives at the regional level, through strategies to cover JLL's Asia Pacific offices.

"This is JLL's second award from NAWIC. The Project & Development Services team in Melbourne received the Inaugural Diversity and Inclusion Champion Award from the organisation's Victoria Chapter in 2013.

"We continue to work and build a diverse workplace.  Our Projects division has increased the representation of women within the Australian business by 68% over the past five years, through a number of initiatives.  One of the key initiatives in mentoring, in which Diana Jones has played a big part," said Mr Hastings.
