JLL bolsters its national Valuation team even further with senior appointments in Melbourne and Brisbane to strengthen its national retail advisory capabilities

The new hires follow the recent announcement of JLL increasing the geographic reach and specialisation of its Valuations business by acquiring Propell National Valuers

JLL has announced further expansion of its national valuations business to substantially strengthen national retail valuations across Australia, with the recruitment of three senior valuers.

  • Stephen Andrew will join JLL from Colliers, where he was the National Head of Retail Valuations

  • Charles Chapman will join JLL from Colliers, where he was the Lead Retail Valuer for Queensland

  • Cameron Dickson will join JLL from Colliers, to work with Mr Chapman on retail valuations in Queensland

JLL's Managing Director, Advisory & Consulting Services - Australia, John Talbot said, "JLL has attracted three senior and experienced valuers and they join the JLL team at an exciting time, when we are significantly expanding our national Valuations business in all key geographical markets and across all key asset classes.

"These three key appointments will strengthen our national Retail Valuations team across Australia, further bolstering our market leading position in retail capital markets and retail property management. We recently announced that JLL has acquired Propell National Valuers, which adds more expertise and scale to our valuations for residential markets with the addition of 200 people to our team across Australia.

"This positions JLL as the leading full service provider across all investment grade and residential valuations for all asset pricing levels, in an industry that is increasingly consolidating with clients seeking a larger suite of services from a single provider," said Mr Talbot.

Stephen Andrew has over 27 years of experience and has extensive experience in the valuation of super-regional, regional and sub-regional shopping centres assets.  Stephen will be based in Melbourne as a National Director of Valuations with a focus on Victorian retail valuations, in addition to working closely with JLL's Head of Retail Valuations & Advisory – Australia, John Burdekin on national priorities.

Charles Chapman has over 10 years of experience and will be based in JLL's Brisbane office as a State Director of Valuations.  Charles will significantly strengthen the retail offering in the large and important Queensland market.  Cameron Dickson will work closely with Charles in the Brisbane office as Manager of Valuations. Cameron has over 8 years of experience across all major asset classes.
