Adopts Activity Based Working model, WorkSmart, developed in-house by the firm’s Corporate Solutions division.
JLL will relocate its Melbourne head office for the first time in 25 years on the 21st December 2015, to new premises at 101 Collins Street.
The global real estate services firm has leased 2,185 sqm of office space over levels 39 and 40 at 101 Collins Street, Melbourne. At the same time, JLL will be implementing its enterprise WorkSmart program, which is an Activity Based Working (ABW) model that incorporates enhanced mobility, choice of settings and flexibility of work location for staff.
Having won the PCA award for best workplace for WorkSmart@420 George St, Sydney, JLL will unveil the next evolution of WorkSmart, at 101 Collins Street in Melbourne. WorkSmart is an integrated and innovative approach to the work environment that has been developed by JLL people, for JLL people.
In particular, the firm has leveraged the in-house skills of its Corporate Solutions division to secure the deal (JLL Tenant Representation), manage the strategic briefing and change management process (JLL Workplace Strategy) and complete the fit out (JLL Project and Development Services).
JLL Managing Director – Victoria, David Bowden, said, "JLL Melbourne will embrace the WorkSmart model, following on from successful implementations in Sydney, Canberra and Adelaide.
