​​​Previous Experience

David joined JLL's Hotels & Hospitality Group in 2007. While with the firm he has worked on numerous individual hotel, motel and licensed premises valuations as well as major portfolio valuations. David has also undertaken numerous hotel/tourism consultancy assignments including market demand studies, feasibility studies, operator selection campaigns and other related consultancy. Within the Asia Pacific region David has practiced in Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific.

Beginning in June 2012, David spent 15 months working in North America with JLL's Hotels & Hospitality. Based in Denver, David undertook valuation and consultancy assignments of large scale hotels and resorts in most major US cities (including Washington DC, Chicago, San Francisco, Denver, Dallas, Houston and Honolulu), several ski orientated destinations (Park City in Utah along with Aspen, Vail, Breckenridge, Crested Butte and Telluride in Colorado) and Caribbean Islands (Aruba).

  • Bachelor of Property Economics from Queensland University of Technology.
  • Registered Valuer in Queensland, NSW and WA, permitted to value in all other States and Territories.
  • Associate of the Australian Property Institute and Certified Practising Valuer (AAPI).
  • Provisional member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors
