The recovery in the Sydney CBD office leasing market is starting to gather momentum. We recorded 34,900 sqm of net absorption in 1Q15 and 99,500 sqm over the 12 months to March 2015. However, the demand recovery is uneven. Technology and mid-tier legal firms are increasing their headcount and occupational footprint, while we have recorded consolidation from investment banks and tier 1 legal firms.
