Australian technology platform strengthened in new merger
JLL and ARCHIBUS Solutions Centers Australia join forces to manage real estate portfolios
Global property services firm JLL has strengthened its technology solutions platform in Australia for commercial real estate after joining forces with ARCHIBUS Solution Centers Australia (ASCA).
Under the new structure, JLL will become the largest licensed provider in Australia for the ARCHIBUS Inc. software, which helps organisations track, manage and optimise the use of their real estate footprint.
ARCHIBUS software is one of the most widely used integrated workplace management systems around the world. The software enables organisations to consolidate systems onto a single integrated platform for all the data, planning and operations of real estate, infrastructure and facilities.
ASCA has worked with more than half of all universities in Australia to implement ARCHIBUS in managing their real estate operations. The software is also widely used in the healthcare sector.
JLL’s Head of Digital Solutions — Australia, Michael Taggart, said: “We’re delighted to join forces with ASCA, who are specialists in the implementation of ARCHIBUS software. The new partnership will bolster JLL’s position to develop and deliver best-in-class workplace management solutions to occupier clients.
“In addition, the US-based ARCHIBUS recently merged with Australian-founded company, Serraview which provides space management software. JLL will continue to offer the software of ARCHIBUS and Serraview along with other best-in-class workplace management solutions to help our clients maximise value in their real estate.
“ARCHIBUS offers a single integrated solution to support real estate and facilities management processes end-to-end, including operations and maintenance management, space planning, lease administration, capital project management and environmental sustainability.
“The merging of ASCA and JLL strengthens our capability in ARCHIBUS implementation and providing local support services in Australia, and adds to our dedicated ARCHIBUS practice of over 100 specialists around the world.
“With the addition of ASCA to the Digital Solutions team, JLL is even better positioned to develop and deliver best-in-class workplace management solutions. Our business also offers a broader suite of technology consulting services, including workplace apps and smart building solutions,” Mr Taggart said.
