Bringing the Regenerative Workplace to Life
The regenerative workplace is a powerful tool to support employee resilience.
JLL’s Global Research team has undertaken fresh research on Bringing the Regenerative Workplace to Life and concluded that the regenerative workplace is a powerful tool to support employee resilience. The Regenerative Workplace model lies on three health pillars and nine resilience traits.
The first pillar is mental health. Employee well-being is important for productivity and we saw a technology firm take a more innovative approach to wellness, introducing a new multi-sensory mediation chamber for employees.
Social health is another pillar of the Regenerative Workplace model. Social health is intrinsically linked to ESG initiatives and we have seen a sportswear brand embrace sustainable practices at its global headquarters by implementing zero-waste programs and educating employees on sustainability.
The third pillar is physical health. Physical health requirements are evolving from physical wellness to include initiatives that provide healthy routines. A recent example is an online retailer installing smart windows at their headquarters that can adjust window tint throughout the day. This helps boost employee creativity, innovation and optimism.
