Kara Collins is the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Lead for JLL Australia and New Zealand. With a career in spanning decades and across states, Kara has a depth of experience across the many facets of commercial real estate. Kara began her career in sales and marketing before transitioning to property and asset management. In her latest position, she was responsible for overseeing a portfolio of Government assets located in Western Australia. A passion for DEI has always underpinned Kara’s career, having led the state initiatives of a youth charity before her move to real estate. Alongside her day job, Kara had also been leading JLL’s DEI efforts since 2020, before taking on the fulltime leadership position in 2024. Her commitment to an inclusive property industry has seen Kara win multiple awards across Australia and Asia Pacific. A mum of two with a passion for reading and sport, Kara lives in back in Melbourne after 18 years in Perth.
