JLL estimates that Australia’s alternative real estate sectors are valued at around AUD 235 billion in 2022, representing a substantial stake of Australia’s institutional real estate sector. Although 2022 has presented challenges across capital markets more broadly, we anticipate capital to continue to persevere allocation strategies towards alternatives in 2023.
