Australian CBD office market net absorption totalled -3,700 sqm over 2Q22, driven by consolidation activity in Melbourne, Adelaide and Canberra. Brisbane CBD quarterly demand surprised on the upside, supported by new office completions and centralisation activity.

Weighted Australian CBD prime gross effective rents recorded a second consecutive quarter of positive growth, indicating that effective rents are gradually recovering.
