Limited supply and strong population growth is continuing to support retail market conditions. While retail spending growth has slowed from a high base, cash rate cuts, real wage growth and rising household wealth will be supportive of retail spending in 2025. Investors continue to see value in the retail sector, with competition for assets in metropolitan locations being highly sought after and more competitively priced.
