Transactions volumes for logistics and industrial assets reached a record high over the first three quarters of 2021. The logistics sector is one of few that has benefitted from pandemic lockdowns, with occupier demand at a record high and the dramatic increase in online retailing appearing sustainable. 

The last 18 months have been a challenging time for many corporates and the volume of sale and leaseback transactions has increased significantly. Institutional investors have seized the opportunity to increase allocations to the sector.
